To delete & stop misuse photos & videos taken with fraud

Someone made fraud with wife , giving wrong/false information & showing dream of role in serial & Film. Accordingly she given audition & prepared video & photos with person(Other than Husband). Now that person misuse of that photos & videos. Also some photos share to me(Husband) & try to break our relationship. Therefore I try to convince my wife & suggested to lodge FIR to avoid spreading & misuse of photos. But due to social culture , she afraid for defamation. Now Even though I am standing with her , she don't trust me & stay with her Father & Mother since 15 days. Also she treat me that she will make suicide if any step taken by me.
In this case being husband , what are legal steps for me.
You may send a legal notice to her for restitution of conjugal rights and make bonafide offer of resuming cohabitation and of resolving any smaller disputes that may be there between both of you. You may also try to resolve the issue with the help family mediators.

You really need to convince her that nothing will go wrong and police will take strict action against culprit. Even if she is not willing then you should assure her that he will not take action and if that fallow again starts blackmailing she have to lodge complaint. Nothings is there to defame her.
