Time gap for filing waiver of six months

What is the min time gap for filing six months waiver after first motion in mutual consent divorce. If the separation period is more than 2 years, does it help? Can a lawyer file for waiver application on our behalf?

In mutual divorce case, once settlement has been arrived between husband and wife and they get their statement recorded during first motion, thereafter earler 6 months cooling off period was there but presently there is no need to wait for 6 long months if they really want to finalized divorce proceedings then straightaway 2nd motion may be filed even just after 15 days of first motion

The waiver application can always be filed by the lawyer on your behalf. And it can be filed anytime after the first motion. The separation period doesn’t matter in the case of mutual divorce because it’s all mutually done by the parties concerned. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hi..!!! You can file an Application the very next date for the waiver of 6 months. Separation period will not matter as in you will have to file the application at all costs but you can show that there is an irretrievable breakdown of marriage and that is why u require waiver of 6 months. Yes your lawyer can file on your behalf.
