Time Exceeds More Than One Year After The First Hearing

05-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Actually my first hearing was done on 3rd November 2018 and second petition was signed on 15 May 2019. Somebody told me that 6 months time period is over from the first hearing and now both the petitions will be signed again.

Query perused. Since 6 months mandatory period between 1st motion and 2nd motion has lapsed, now 2nd motion can be filed pursuant to that decree of divorce will be granted by the Hon'ble Court. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.

you have 18 months time to file divorce after first motion. you are still in limitation and can easily move for second motion. The Hindu Marriage act provide the said time. You don't need to file first motion petition again.
