The wife has deserted 10 months back what to do

We had a temple marriage 14 months back. Within 4 months she deserted me. Its been 10 months now. She hasn't even contacted even before I tried thousand times. Now I want a divorce but don't want to give her compensation. Please suggest any solution.

Sir, please know that the marriage held at Temple is as per your personal law or marriage is performed as contemplated under the law.
Secondly, as to what was the compelling reason for her to desert you within four months of the marriage. It is not the wish of the husband to deny the maintenance to wife, until he could establish that she is capable of maintaining herself. She is having better source of income than the husband.
You can not move the court within one year for seeking divorce even under the ground of cruelty. So, consult an advocate who is having good knowledge on matrimonial law. Good Luck.
