Summons - item return unclaimed

Family case summon was couriered to respondent through RPAD. the remark is " item return unclaimed". nMy question - will this summon will be consider as delivered?nIf again we are sending through Court Bailiff, does the bailiff goes 3 times at his home?? and if defendant not found then will he paste it at his house, do we require court order for this?

Unclaimed is a good service. No. of attempts depends on court to court. For taking steps you hav to make appropriate application through your lawyer. I would suggest take hire a good lawyer and bring your matter on track as this is initial stage and if this is taking so much time when the actual proceeding wl start. for further assistance feel free to contact.

Dear Queriest if the case summons returns unclaimed then the court sends bailiff to deliver the same, who tries to deliver in hand or atleast some af home and he records the same and then the. bailiff submits the reports accordingly and if not claimed or not delivered since no one to recieve then the same is pasted on their door. for more information about the same kindly call me

Well, if the remark which you have got says that Item Return Unclaimed, it means, you did your job as a Plaintiff. If it got returned, it is not your fault. In this case, the summons will be considered as not duly served, but other modes of service of notice from your end must be tried through Bailiff which you have mentioned for the proper service.
