Stridhan recovery in contested divorce

24-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We are Christians. I filed for divorce on mental cruelty and desertion. I also filed Caveat. My wife filed for maintainence and is contesting. Second time again I send her the caveat but she filed for recovery of stridhan along with my property attached as injunction. I am unable to return her Stridhan in cash as cash and articles were given as stridhan. How can I avoid loosing my property. She wants to live with me now we have a child and are married for 6 years. Any other means to settle this as I don't want to live with her anymore.

It is not clear whether your wife has filed a 490 8AF I are against you . If she has filed a case of injunction even in case of injunction she can't recover is three then if she has filed a civil suit against you then she might have filed a case of recovery against you and as far as your personal assets are concerned she has no right to take over it from you if you want to return her Sthreedhanam better move an application in the concerned court that you are willing to return her all three is an articles for more details you may contact me
