Me and my partner want to finish our marriage on the basis of stamp paper as well as on written agreement that we will not interfere in each other’s life’s ,because our divorce is taking so much time as we both expected and i want to remarry ,so anybody please help me out at how much cost of stamp paper would i use in this matter ,also i request pathlegal to provide me the no of advocate who is near by tis hazari court delhi .As well as north delhi
You cannot end a marriage in the mannerr you wish to do it...just by signing an agreement...on a stamp paper.

No you will have to take the proper route. You cannot remarry till your marriage is properly dissolved. A mutual divorce petition has to be submitted to the court. Along with an application to waive off the period to go ahead with the second motion to expedite the divorce. Your settlement is for your mutual understanding. The marriage won’t be dissolved on the basis of that. Please consult a learned advocate to avoid any legal issue which may arise.

Your marriage can only be dissolved before a court of law and not not stamp paper. Stamp paper has no legal value. Also if you both are ready then you can file for Mutual Divorce. As mutual divorce thou takes 6 months only however as per the latest guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme Court it can be done in one month as well. Please do not remarry before getting divorce from court as your second marriage would be considered as illegal. If you want to proceed, you can contact.
