Specific reason to file a divorce

Can I file divorce against husband even if there's no physical cruelty or major mental harrasment. Can ignoring wife for friends be a reason to file divorce?

Ignorance of a wife cannot be a ground for divorce. If you have been deserted and several reconciliation attempts have failed then you can approach the Court for divorce. Other than that impotency, cheating and there are a few grounds for divorce.

The above mentioned reason can fall under the head of mental cruelty as well. So, a divorce petition can be filed on this issue as well. Getting neglected by the husband is a strong cause for mental harassment.
