Sister in law harassing brother and my entire family

06-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My bro(Hindu) got married in February 2018. My bro purchased a.c. and everything she asked for.(her house doesn't even has a working fan) Since my brother works away from home, it was easy for her to abuse me and my mother do. Than one day she started shouting at the top of her voice, started crying and what not. My family got really scared (what if she injures herself) we gave her the jewelry worth 5 lacs and dropped her off at her uncle's house and next day we packed her stuff and dropped that as well. Fast forward 2-3 months, she started talking to my brother and made it clear that she won't live with me, my mother and father (more like she wanted my brother to Break off the Ties from us) 1 week ago she started abusing my brother and said very bad things about me and my sister.(went on saying that I have loose character) BTW, her sister in law has filed a case of domestic voilence and dowry on my sister in laws family in 2017. My brother want separation. What should he do?

Well, you should seek help from councelling department in your near by police station.
In a written application you should include your story, from a to z,.
It would be better if you seek an advocates help, so that.. you should avoid what should not be in that application.

Tell him to file divorce petition alleging the above mentioned grounds but make sure he files it before she cud approach any forum against all of u, if she will prefer any complaint after ur divorce case then the same will be considered as a counterblast dun go for section 9 just file petition for divorce under section 13 of hma

Cases of domestic violence and dowry should be defended, there is no other way.

If your brother want separation then he should send a notice of divorce to his wife asking her to agree on divorce by mutual consent. If she does not agree then your brother can go for regular divorce, in which he will have to prove grounds of divorce.
