Sir can i take the signature of 1 lawyer out of 2 on vakalat paper as Noc? is it valid? my husband seeks for annulment. we are hindus. thank you. 90
Hi according to your query, you can take the signatures on the vakalat if the both the persons are signed previously then you have to take otherwise, no need one also is enough of the seniour advocate who first signed on the vakalat.

You should obtain the No objection certificate from the first lawyer named in the vakalat if there are 2 lawyers.
The lawyer named second in vakalat is normally a junior lawyer and hence his signature might not be required.
however it is important that the No objection certificate is signed by the senior most lawyer amongst the two.
