If the behaviour of your son's wife is intolerable towards him then he can anytime send a complaint regarding his grievances in writing to the police station according to his jurisdiction. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship he can file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest him to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Ma'am, ultimately it's your son who has to file a divorce petition. It's better to go for a mutual divorce rather than going for contested divorce, as a contested divorce will bring upon more litigations upon you and your family by her. For assistance you may consult me.

Mam you can file divorce as you told Wife of your son is of a violent nature in this case we can file divorce on the ground of mental cruelty. Also if she is staying with you then you can evict her from your house because of her nature she can harm you or can file false case of domestic violence etc against you.
