Second marriage rights for the wife and the child from first marriage

This is my second marriage. At the time of marriage, my husband committed to take responsibility of me and my daughter. After six months, he is not paying for anything. I am not earning. What should i do? We are hindu

your husband is bound to take care of you but not the daughter as your daughter technically belongs to the first husband before marrying you should have got it written. now you must talk to a lawyer and send legal notice and take legal steps

dear client as per your query since you this is your second marriage but your husband at the time of marriage was ready to take all the expenses of you and your child so he cannot deny now you can consult me online by paying online consultancy fees....

you can immediately file a case for maintenance and be rest assured your husband will be compelled to provide for you. as far as your daughter is concerned unless there is a contract to the contrary you can bring a case for her maintenance against her biological father. the case can be instituted by you on her behalf. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
