Rti application for details of travel and country where my wis residin

Can I file rti to Ministry of External Affairs asking details of travel and country where she is residing regarding my estranged wife who fled away from India 2 years ago after filing false cases against me and she is not attending court hearings from then

You can file a RTI, but, I think, they may not disclose the information to you about her travel history and where she is currently by citing reasons like Breach of her Privacy under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution! You have to seek the permission of the concerned Hon'ble High Court to order the Ministry of External Affairs to share details by convincing the court with your reasons to find out such info!

Ministry of External Affairs will not give you this info as it is private information regarding your wife. However, you must file warrant application before the court where your wife has filed false cases against you. You may also request the court to seek info from MEA regarding your wife present address.
