Requirements for filing divorce

Is it mandatory to have a local address proof in order to file divorce at New Delhi? I am having non-local proof.

Either you have the local address proof of delhi or the marriage should have been solemnised here in delhi or if you both last resided together in delhi you can file mutual divorce in delhi. for assistance you may consult me.

The divorce can be obtained from where you live OR your partner lives OR where your marriage was solemnized. In simple words it can be obtained from your parental home as well as from your matrimonial home & where you have done the marriage. It's advisable for you to go for mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

It is not mandatory to have a permanent address in Delhi to file a divorce but there are some statutory requirements as per Hindu marriage act the divorce can be filed at three places the first one is where marriage took place if we can prove the marriage place or was there in Delhi then we can file in Delhi second where one of the party is living either in husband or wife in the third one where both the parties lost resided together
