As per your query in law rato, first you take back your belongings back and then file a divorce against your husband. If your husband agree for mutual divorce then file mutual divorce or else you need to file contested divorce.

what you would do is completely your prerogative and as a legal counsel it would be out of my ambit to dictate decision that are intrinsic to your life. having said that let me help you with the legal remedies that might clarify and assuage the doubts running in your mind. first the stridhan Or the jeweller articles lying with your in laws would get recovered by due process of law even if you choose not to file divorce so in any case those articles would come back to you. you can either file a criminal case of breach of trust or civil case under pwdv act to recover those article. now coming to the divorce since your husband also wanted to take divorce so the best way forward would be to go for mutual divorce if you two can agree to the terms of the divorce.
