Removing Names from Charge Sheets

05-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My wife filed 498A and 342 against me and my parents and brother. I have shown all the evidences which proves that their complaint is totally fake, still Inspection officer is not ready to remove my parents and brother name. She is asking huge amount only for removing my mother and brother name and removing section 342. Please suggest if in case she didn't remove the name, what steps I should take next?

Once the FIR is registered, police will make an enquiry and based on enquiry may or may not arrest the person.
Once the person is arrested, he is entitled to bail till such time the charge sheet is filed and trial has started.
so as a complainant, your job is to ensure that you provide the police full details for them to investigate.
Once the trial is commenced, as a complainant you will need to depose before the court and then subsequently police will also depose before the courts.
After trial the courts will decide on whether the person is to be convicted or acquitted.
Other remedies can be taken place like.
Mediation can be done be by mahila thana and can be referred to mediation centre.

41 a notice can be served by police .
482 can be filed in high court..
kindly go legal to know more....
