Regd. Quashing of FIR for removing family member names

Sir, Ma'amI am a resident of Najafgarh DelhinA fake complaint was logged by my wife against all members of my family in Haryana, this is the second time, however this time FIR was logged, we have asked the IO to remove family members name, hope it gets removed, my query is whether I can approach Delhi High Court or Punjab & Haryana HC for removal of family members name, please help?

You can move to Punjab Haryana High court for the quashing of FIR qua your family members on merits. Delhi high does not have jurisdiction of Haryana complaints. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

Quashing can be done on merits or on the basis of compromise. On merits it’s only possible if you have conclusive evidences in your defence. N u need to approach Punjab & Haryana HC. However I/o may not include the name in chargesheet if he doesn’t find any role of family members during his enquiry or investigation ..plz b in touch

As FIR is registered in Haryana you jave to go Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh to get it quashed. Simultaneously it is better to register a complaint in Delhi against your wife so that you and your family have a bonafide case and it should seek that you are also facing issues with your wife.

If the FIR has been registered in Haryana then the Punjab & Haryana High Court has got the jurisdiction to decide upon it and quashing will also be done by this court only. As far as removal of names are concerned that can be done by the IO if no evidence is found against the party. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

hello client aa i can see your issue is really a very much aeeious issue as you are asking tge IO yo remove the names from the FIR on your request aa you are saying . but the process of removing the names is not so easy a you think after tge FIR get registered names can not be removed very easily . its a process tht can not be done with out the virtue of the court . as you are asking for quashing it can be done but for doing quashing in delhi high court we need it permiasion from suprme court .
