No, you cannot legally hide bank accounts or assets. If caught, it will harm your case more than help. Instead, show the full picture and argue that your income is minimal and she has the capacity to earn. Would you like me to draft a sample Rajnish vs Neha affidavit (in your situation: low income, only small land, two bank accounts, no house, no vehicle) so you can see how to present it in your favor?

Do NOT hide bank accounts or land. If court later finds out (through bank inquiry, IT returns, or opposite party application), it will damage your credibility and you may face legal consequence File your Rajnesh vs Neha affidavit truthfully – Mention your land, both accounts, monthly income (if any), monthly expenses, and liabilities. ✔ Show your liabilities & low income – Highlight rent (if you live on rent), your expenses, dependents (if you support parents, siblings, etc.), and medical needs. ✔ Ask for strict proof of her dependency – If your wife is educated / capable of earning, point this out. Courts often deny/reduce maintenance if wife is employable but idle. ✔ If she left without cause – Argue she has “deserted without reasonable cause”. This helps reduce/deny her maintenance claim. ✔ Since no alimony at divorce – Use that fact: she voluntarily waived her claim at the time of divorce.

No need to hide anything before court Cos your economical position is not good enough And when you have also burden of ur mother and father She has already taken divorce from court and because you have not enough sources of income so you are not liable to pay for the same
