Regarding dowry demanding issue after marriage

Hello sir, this is aswini from banglore . My nlove marriage held on 2020 August without my parents and family members permission. Present we have baby now my husband demanding for dowry. If I am not bring it he threatened me and he told like he is not ready to be with me. Pls give some suggestion and save my life.

Section 498A. Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty. Previous Next. 1. [Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine. file it in a local police station and also dial 100 in urgent scenario.

hi you could file for 498A case for harassement and for demading dowry and you could also for domestic violence case for harassement and if he is not looking after baby then you could file case for maintenance against them for looking after child
