Regarding dowry and maintenance

Wife asking for maintenance and we are separated after one year marriage now she asking for Rupees 50 thousand and she is claiming more 40 lakh her father has invested and given in marriage." how to be safe from this issue and what is the reason not to give single penny and process we can complaint against her ???

Prove her competency to earn and her qualifications. Subsidise your earning on papers. Fight case with competent lawyer. All cases including dv act , 125 (3) , etc. should be on same platform and script.

Are you living separately since one year or already divorced? In case both the parties are divorced and no such terms decided while getting the divorce, then you may file an appropriate complaint at your local police station.

You should counter your wife in court and filed cases against her also , maintenance will be fixed according to your income. Some times the maintenance case is not decided in favour of wife, it depends on circumstances such as wife is living in adultery, left her husband without sufficient reason, she is earning more than her husband and others.
