Regarding alimony and items gifted in marriage

Due to some personal reasons I got divorced. But all my things and items which kept for kept are with in my in-laws house.we are asking for that things but they are not giving anything and saying we can't give anything.need a solution for this.please do help ,how to deal with this !

may I know what kind of divorce u taken, coming to your items first we send a legal notice ask for your items and alimony or maintainance , they will pay you and we mentioned in notice that of they not paying we will file a case on them ...contact any advocate he will help you in getting maintenance from your husband

hello mam I had gone through your query just now as it is mentioned that you got recently divorced and thereby your in laws are not giving back your sthridan. we can proceed through the hindu marriage act 1955 or the act under which you are married and thereby legally proceeding for this is good and with legal help we can take that amount from your jn laws hope this answer is helpful thanks for approaching me. dealing with this just approaching the family court and legally taking your stridan.
