Regarding a Divorce case...Being married for 26yrs now................

Hello, my name is Bhanu
I have been married for 26 years now and wanted to apply for a divorce. Since the torture was too much given by my husband I moved out and are currently staying seperatly for 6 months now. So I wanted to know if staying seperatly without a divorce create problem? And plus I wanted to know that I am not using any of his credit cards or nothing as such. Which means I am not financially dependent on him so I wanted to know what is the best that should be done?
Mutual divorce will not work out( tried that too).
then you can apply for contested divorce petition on the ground of cruelty better then court will send both mediation sessions in mediation we can settle easly your problem we can counselling both of you if you want take separation then court will pass
