Recovery of personal belongings

27-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I have filed DV application against my husband. I understand that stridhan articles will be recovered during the course of proceedings in court. But how to recover my personal belongings from my matrimonial house? Court once allowed to bring back my articles in presence of Protection Officer. But how to recover some items which have left there after that and are extremely urgent (like passport, official documents etc.). Please advice.

you have to file an appropriate application and mention all articles and documents which you required from your matrimonial house. court will take up that application and give you date and one officer for execution.

You have to apply again in your concerned court regarding the left articles that are lying in your matrimonial home and if the FIR has been registered then you can also claim it through the police. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

your essential documents can be recovered in the same way your stridhan articles were recovered. you do not need to do something separately in order to retrieve your important documents. if there is any problem that is being created by the family of your husband you can file an application in the existing case and pray to the court that you may be allowed to retrieve your essential document
