Can I marry my father's elder brothers son legally in India

According to Hindu marriage act and the Muslim marriage,the marriage is consangunity,affinity,fosterage are strictly prohihibited on the other hand there are myriad school as per the Muslim marriage act,Hanfai,shafie,malikis,which originate from Quran and sunnah...What religion to you follow is imp for me to know,perhaps I can advice you a lot on this subject

No, it's prohibited as per the Hindu Marriage Act, but if you want to pursue, then we can help out, so first think about it and then pursue further now a days if you both will adopt some other religion then.

Your question is can I marry my father's brother's sonSo I want to tell you that under the Hindu Marriage Act, you belong to the same gotra and you cannot marry the son of your father's brother, who is a king's cousin under you, this prohibition comes in kinship

As per the hindu law, you are stringently prohibited within all degrees to get the marriage consummated, but if you are adamant or obdurate or you have seer affinity towards the farmer you can transmogrify into Islam where within certain degrees you shall be permitted to marry.
