Punishment for marrying other women during the presence of first wife

my sister have two daughter and her husband did second marriage 5 yrs ago . case running since that date at samastipur court . everything proved . but my sister did nt get any result from this case . he have two house and so many properties . my sister claimed for properties for her daughter . and she divorce . when everything proved at court , that he got second marriage and had kids from second marriage too . so what will be the punishment for him and what kind of compensation she can get for her and for her daughters .

Since you have already filed a case for bigamy against your hubby, then try to secure the judgement copy of your case and if you are not satisfied wirh the judgement, file an appeal in higher Court. If judgement has not passed till now, then find out the stage of the trial of your case and file a complain in the District Court for inordinate delay in your case.
Remedy:-
1. In criminal case, your husband will be put behind the bar maximum for 7 years and fine.
2. In Divorce case, You can file a maintainance case against your hubby and get maintaince from him for herself and her 2 daughters.

If everything had been proved against your sister's husband, then there must be court's order. You have not disclosed the same in your query. If divorce had been granted, the court must had also directed compensation and division of property.
