Punishment for filing false 498a

I would like to know is there any punishment to wife ,for filing false 498a to money extraction
Did any wife got punished by court?

There is no such incidents as per my knowledge. On the probabilities of each case the Court will decide. If false case is filed there was earliest opportunity for you to get it quashed by approaching High Court. If it was quashed without filing charge sheet then you would have an opportunity to file defamation case against her.

if after facing full trial the court acquits you then only you can file case for malicious prosecution. in that case you can get her punished or you just give divorce and move out of the relation citing this also as a ground.
