Process to get court hearing date in Mumbai High Court

Hello, I wanted to understand the process and approx time needed to get court date in Mumbai high court for divorce petition. Our papers for mutual divorce are ready since sometime but I am not sure why its taking time to get the first court date. Thanks.

hi the case which you have filed may have technical objections in respect of some issues you can inform your advocate to remove the objection and move precipe to circulate the matter before the court in ordinary scenario first date is given in the day of filing itself

divorce petition is not to be listed in high court it has to be listed in family court accordingly to the jurisdiction and moreover courts are open so date should be in line now and at the earliest and hearings in the court are now functional

you are filing the petition for the divorce in mutual consent . it is a law in Hindu marriage act under section 13 b , the mutual consent the petition is finalize after 6 months . This petition, this 6 month is cooling period, in this period the court can do counselling if possible restitution your marital life and so you are thinking that this is the delay in final order . so you have to wait wait for the cooling period the court your matter decide after 6 month. thank you
