Procedure in case one party wants divorce but other don't

A divorce application could be filed only after one year. What is your religion?Fighting is not a ground for divorce.Other wise it should be filed by mutual consent.If she file with out valid grounds you can defend it and court will not give divorce.

You just keep quiet though she filed the petition for divorce..If you are against the divorce you can file a petition before the Family Court for restituttion of conjugal rights. There you will get the chance for divorce.

divorce matters are things to be decided even after a 5 times rethinking n yet more if there are children. Since ur query lacks those aspects u may decide. The decision is to be made after consulting with ur wife. If u decide not to divorce u may contest it. So if there are no merits or evidentary value the court wont permit divorce. Petty quarrels n issues are not a reason for divorce there are several outside court things to be made before fixing minds for divorce.
consult a lawyer f ur choise. Yet mend it if u like to live together n more sacrifice everything if u got kids

There is nothing for you to do, unless you agree to divorce by mutual consent. Or else, it is for your wife to approach the family court and get a decree for divorce after leading evidence and proving any of the valid grounds for divorce.
