Dear Sir, I got divorced recently (permanent alimony is paid) I have a daughter of age 8yrs, staying with her mother. In future, does my wife or daughter can claim from my or parents movable or immovable property? Because of this concern I am not able make up my future decisions. Thanks.

Dear Sir
Nothing to worry. Permanent alimony means and include full and final settlement of all future claims of your wife and child. They have no rights to claim eithet your or your parents property. The alimony was given with an understanding that they will keep the same in Fixed Deposit and get monthly Maintenance for the rest of their lifes.
