NRI mutual div final motion other party not willing

Short marriage , no kid, boy overseas citizen , mutal divorce filed 1st hearing done , agreemt signed, half money given. Other party blackmailing for more money before 2nd hearing. Can other party take money and again file contested or obliged to anything with mou legal binding?nWhat options should single party file divorce overseas court ?

Hello as per your query you filled mutual divorce and first motion already happened and now your wife demanding more money then you have to wait for the date of second motion and after in absence of your wife the case may rejected. Hello if divorce by mutual consent is dismissed or withdrawn as second party is not willing to take divorce you can demand the money back paid at the time of 1st motion and file petition for contested divorce.
