Hi there! As you are looking for dissolution of marriage by way of mutual consent, you need to show that you are living separately preferably for over 1.5 years for the speedy mutual divorce process as showing a separation for over 1.5 years would enable the family court to waive off the 6 month mandatory cooling period after the passing of 1st motion of mutual divorce. Showing separate residences won't be a cumbersome task as the courts are not going to get into the truth behind it as it's a joint mutual divorce petition. We can work around it. The list of documents needed and the cost involved will be talked about over call. For assistance you know whom to call!

If you both are planning for mutual divorce then there is no need for showing that you were living in two separate residences. Only the duration of separation is needed that is one year. And as far as the paper work is concerned passport size photographs, any ID proof from India, Marriage Photographs and marriage card (if available) will be needed. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Time duration for seeking mutual consent divorce would be max 6 months and you guys need to show in the petition that both of you are living separately since last 1 year. In case you can separation period is 1.5 years the 6 months waiting period can be waived off. Documents required would be 1 id card, passport size photograph, marriage card and one marriage photo. For further legal assistance I am just a call away.
