No counter procedure in bangalore family court?

I have applied for divorce on october 2018, after mediations i have added ammendment to my petition the respondent filed objection. I wish to apply counter but my advocate said there is no p r ocedure for appluing counter in bangalore so argument will happen on next week. Is it true? Do i dont have any option to file counter?
