such deeds are not a full proof replacement for any trust deficit. but if you both can agree to the terms of the deed and thereby can prevent the relationship from breaking down then surely its a good family arrangement. but be also informed and cautioned that in case you are married under the hindu law then marriage is sacrosanct and not a contract.

go for it. contact to any lawyer and describe him the points upon which you want to get the deed prepared. normally this kind of deeds are not regularly prepared but if you wat to than there is no problem to. you only have to disclose all your concerns upon which you want to make the agreement and after prepqring is get is signed by both of you in presence of witnesses and then you may also get is notarized.
