Need mutual agreement/ divorce notice

I have been married for 6.5 yrs, my wife is staying in her parents home for past 2.5 years and not willing to stay together. We have a son who is 4 yrs old. My in-laws have given up convincing their daughter and there have been 4-5 counselling sessions by religious groups, without any success. There is no communication for past 1 year and the last time i tried to get my son a good education was dealt with a police complaint against me for harassment.

You can start with a legal notice issued to your wife to ask her to participate in proceedings for divorce by mutual consent which is a simpler process. If she doesn't respond, then you can file a petition seeking divorce before the family court. I'm not sure which religion both of you belong to do can't say the exact law but the procedure is similar for Hindus, Christians and Special Marriages.
