Need Divorce advice - 3 months or marriage

29-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
HiI wanted to have some legal advice on steps I can undertake to gain a divorce from my wife. Also information related to alimony and settlement would be helpful please. We got married in 7 Feb 2022. It is an arranged marriage through online portals. However after 3 months it has been absolutely difficult to stay with my wife. We have been living with my parents since the wedding day. Her behaviour towards my parents has been absolutely terrible. She doesn't speak to anyone and only responds curtly when spoken to. In private she picks fights with me over small issues and expects her every demand to be met unconditionally. Need advice on next steps. I earn 1.9 lac per month with over 1 lac expenses. She earns 80k with almost no major expense. Please advise

divorce is of two types mutual and contested if both parties agree then mutual or if only one party agrees then contested divorce and as per your sayings she is a working lady so no alimony may be granted what is your jurisdiction...

you need to understand how the indian laws work and how much you need to compensate, most lawyers would be happy to help you as you are a good catch for 5 years of constant litigation but there there is catch if you turn things the other way round there is a slight chance you might get saved still a lot of homework is required.

I do not see you having a very strong case for even judicial separation leave apart divorce. nevertheless I would suggest that since it's been just a few months into your marriage it would be in everyone's interest that you give time to this relationship to sink in. from the perspective of legal remedies you may serve a legal notice upon her explaining your expectations and if required opting for a mediation session to work out the difference in a friendly and conducive manner. it would be better on your part that she files a divorce against you if at all, if you both do not come into a mutually agreed terms. since you earn almost twice her salary your status will determine her alimony. also there are a few factors which goes into determining the question of alimony and terms of divorce.
