Need advice on second marriage for girl without divorce papers

23-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, My friend (she) got married (hindu marriage) 4 years back. Due to lot of dowry issues she got many problems and she can't continue further. So she came back to her home within 10 days. And the marriage is not registered. After that they got separated. Then she applied for divorce. Its been 4 years now they got separated. So is it possible she can do the second marriage without divorce papers and the divorce case in progress and she yet to get those papers. Or is there anyway to immediate the process to get those divorce papers quickly. And if she is doing the marriage without divorce papers then what will be the consequences for her and the new groom.. Need some advice on this. Please help.

Going for the second marriage without dissolution of the first marriage is not only illegal but also will make the second marriage invalid. If your friend goes for the second marriage without divorce papers it will be invalid right from the beginning and it will be a criminal offence of bigamy.
