hi if you want maintenance from your husband then you could file petition in court seeking maintenance in court on the ground that he is not looking after you and your child then you could file petition for maintenance in court

Section 125 of the crpc states that if any pers has sufficient means refuses or neglects to maintain his wife or legitimate child,then such party may apply to the magistrate who may order a monthly allowance for the maintenance of such child or wife So you better to file maintain petition in the court or already you filed any petition in the court file with it for interim maintenance
