My wife's lawyer sent notice for mutual consent divorce

17-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We are married for 1.6 years and have no kids. Due to disagreements my wife is asking for divorce and sent notice through her lawyer for the same. Notice only says that she is asking for mutual consent divorce as she the relationship is unhappy and not working. She also mentions that if I don't come for mutual consent, she would approach court and claim domestic violence against me. What should I do now and as my wife is asking mutual consent divorce, should I pay her any compensation or its not required(she is working person)

you can give reply to the notice through your advocate first. it will be much better initially.

depending on the response of notice, you need to wait to see how she will proceed.

All depends on how you wish to take it forward. If you are okay they will proceed for mutual. Else you have to reply by asking her to come back if you wish to live with her and not divorce her. Alimony can be discussed and sorted.
