My son in law filed divorce petition in the court.

My daughter is not in favour of divorce. She wants to remain with her husband.
There is no rule in India to pressurize someone to stay with anybody. If her husband do not want her in his life so you can't live with him. Your daughter can file so many cases against her husband such as harassment case, dowry case,alimony case ,domestic violence case etc but she can not push him to stay with her as a husband. She can file case under section 9 of HMA to restart her marital life with her same husband but after winning the case, there is no benefit
