My husband wants to divorce me

25-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
After 4 years of marriage, my husband wants divorce from me. He has been forcing me gor divorce since 2 years and was very bad to me in this two years. I also have a 2 year old baby. He has been abusing me verbally and physically both. He humiliates me by making wrong stories about me being bad. His family n some friends has also been interfering and brainwashed him to leave me. He forces me to divorce and if i dont divorce him he will never keep me happy. I m muslim by religion. Is it possible to get free legal advice on divorce on my case and how much allowance money or alimony i can get if i get divorced by him? Also till the divorce process is going on will he pay me the allowances?

as per letest amendment in muslim law, your husband can not give you divorce for any reason, so you don't worry about that, majorly when another woman came in to the person's life than only husband want to take a divorce from wife, another thing is in Muslim law, wife may get the very nominal amount as one time sattellment, so it is advisable to don't take divorce, only muslim woman can file the divorce, husband can not. so keep patience and try to kick out the another woman from your husband's life.

Yes you may get divorce from him in addition you may get maintenance for you and your child. You can get two types of maintenance one is permanent which you can get till you alive or remarriage whichever is earlier and second is interim in which you can get some amount to contest your case and survival during pending proceedings.
