My husband has been harassing me physicaly and mentally for last 10 years after our marriage. Nowadays he even started harassing me sexually. But I don't have things to prove it except injury marks on my body . He is also from criminal background family and also has charges imposed on him of three cases. I am even ready to leave the allemony but for mental peace and safety of my life I just want to have divorce from him. Due to threat to my life I had not even entered the city since last 10 days.

Hello. You can file a divorce petition seeking divorce on the ground of this ill treatment and harassment. And you can also lodge an FIR against your husband. Both things can go hand in hand. Also, the family court will consider all the grounds raised by you and will pass a divorce decree in your favour. Will monthly maintenance and alimony amount

it's a fit case for divorce, the procedure will depend upon the religion you and your husband follow, but on merits it's a case covered under the cruelty clause. uou can file an FIR with the police station regarding the violence, you should get a medical examination done do that your injuries are on record, delay in that will result in the injury being healed and marks will vanish.
