My husband forced me to raise the child as Christian

I leave my husband after delivery and stayed at my father's house. My daughter is 9 months old now and I solely takecare of her. I didn't apply for a divorce yet. My husband wants to visit the kid on weekly basis and also he forced me to raise the child based on his belief (he is hindu based on certificate but he follows Christianity).

Your husband cannot force you or the child to follow his religion or its beliefs. Visiting a child by a father is his right. But such visit by the father should not endanger the welfare of the child. If intolerable then you can file a domestic violence case against your husband and get appropriate reliefs.

You maybe legal hire till she will be into major. Yiu have not legally got the divorce and get the kids custody. But he cannot force you to do everything. what ever the community he is follows not an issues. But he is having the rights to visit yours daughter. If your taken care solely then apply mutual consent. The court give the legal hire till her major and he can look weekly once is allowed
