My husband and in-law harassed me over dowry

I am Hindu.My husband and in-law harasses me over dowry since i married and through me out of in-law house.When my father talk to them. my husband said that i would not give you divorce.What can i do now.

you can file a complaint in women cell regarding the harassment and torture done by your husband and in laws, which will result to the FIR against him and in laws. Apart_from that you can also file the case of domestic violence against them, which will give u maintenance, protection and accommodation rights .

There are so many legal provisions in favour of you. Firstly you should go for u/s 498 IPC and domestic violence act. You will be certainly get major reliefs. Under DV Act you can maintenance, protection and residence order. U/S 498 IPC is also very effective provision.
