My ex-girlfriend asking for justice because she thinks I moved on quck

Me and my girlfriend broke up on feb 2021 because of both family disagree with the marriage. My family and her family convinced me to drop out from the relationship. After a week my ex threatning to hurt herself and now her family supporting her. She thinks I cheated her & used her for show off even though I was mentally prepared to marry in simple way and adjusting finacial aid. But after seing her immature act and trying to dominate me, I lost interest in marrying her. After she came to know that I am not responding her. She threatning to lodge complaint and ask for justice. So I decided to clear this thing peacefully and talked to her came to decision that we don't have any commitment and will be friend just like others. She agreed this on march 2021. In may first week 2021, she hear from someone that I am looking for other girl for marriage (anyway I am not focussing on marriage right now), she threatning to lodge complaint and she will ask for justice and drag me and my family.
you have to resolve the disputes through proper mediation otherwise it's law takes its own course, as you narrated you had promised your girlfriend to marry, so you can't prevent her from filing the complaint but if you feel she is going to hurt herself report in the nearest police station, consult any advocate to explore more options available to you.

she can lodge complaint against you if she has sufficient evidence you prove that you are in relationship with her and promised her to marry. Promising a girl to marry and keeping physical relationship with her is an offence . If she files a complaint you can approach for anticipatory bail by stating it was a consensual relationship
