My brother need separation from his wife

My brothers in-law married their daughter without revealing her medical condition. She has a lot of medical health issues majorly mental issues but they denied and got married with my brother. However, my brother accept to live life with her but now the conditions are getting worst day by day and my brother has finally decided for separation but now they are demanding of 15 lakh rupees for mutual consent which is quite huge and giving a threat on daily basis that will file case on my brother and my parents along with me in nearest police station and torturing unnecessarily. Please suggest what to do here. Many thanks!

I would advise you to file an intallah peshbandi application with the concerned police authorities enunciating true facts as a precautionary measure that you have an apprehension of false impleadment. Further you may file an annulment of marriage on the ground that marriage consent was taken by fraud and misrepresentation.

If the marriage was based upon concealment of facts and now they are pressuring you for money and false cases, you can immediately file for contested divorce. Also concealment of mental health problem is a serious issue and courts grant you divorce decree in these cases. Please feel free to contact Thanks

It is a serious matter if marriage is performed without share correct information. Such things often lead to fights later.
