My bf never showed me any documents of his divorce

My ex boyfriend got married on 12th May 2022 his wife left him 45 days later of the marriage and went to her parents house in October 2022 not sure she sent him a legal notice and they got divorced on 23rd May 2023. I doubt if this is possible getting divorced within a year. Also as per him she may have registered a complaint of violence. I highly doubt this story
Well, legally it is not possible for any Hindu currently as per the Hindu Marriage Act to present a Petition of Divorce without abstaining to indulge in congugal rights with each other for a year at least. Hence, your doubt is credible

If she would have filed a case against him then an advocate can find it out by doing a search. She might have either filed a case of maintenance or a complaint under sections of domestic violence. This can be searched.
