you can engage saparate Advocate on behalf of you and speedup the case and remaining amount you can give Demand draft on the name of your wife, the same should be mention in the divorce petition. The said DD will be realise on the date of divorce in the said court

you can in such cases take no objection from the advocate and say that you want to appoint another advocate and half amount is given on the day of signing on mutual consent papers and the remaining balance on the closing day

usually half of the amount decided as permanent alimony to wife, will be paid by the husband at the time of filing mutual divorce and the remaining will be paid on the day of giving evidence. maximum advocates suggest the same and the same is in practice, except in some exceptional cases. Same Advocate/s will act for both the petitioners and will protect the interests of the both parties. If your council compelling you to pay the entire amount prior to the petition, you have an option to engage another advocate to protect your interests.
