MUTUAL CONSENT DIVORCE, ALIMONY PAID, CAN SHE ASK FURTHER?

22-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I recently got divorced from my wife and and the contested divorce was converted to a mutual consent divorce and I paid her 10 lakhs towards "Permanent alimony". The Decree from Family Court states that in view of the the above given money, no claim or division shall be laid against each other in future and parties waive off any potential claim of the estate in the future. Can she claim maintenance or further alimony under Sec 25 or CPC or under Section 125 of CrPc?

no she cannot. once the mutual consent decree is drawn up, she cannot claim anything from you after that and the decree is final. however, she could try to harrass you by filing an appeal or a writ so as to legalise her demands. these petitions need to be fought against in court.

No she can't claim single paisa. Once she had given up her rights as per the terms and conditions mentioned in Divorce petition by mutual consent then she can't claim anything in future as she had waved up all her future rights.

No, she cannot claim either under Sec 125 of the CRPC or under any other provision of Indian Law. Hope, you understood my point. Any more questions do you have? If yes, kindly connect and get the answers of all your questions.
