Does a muslim nikah if registered under Special Marriage Act 1954 sect 16 requires court decree for dissolution or will it be sufficient to send a legal notice to wife mentioning Talaqul hasan?

if you are marriage under special Marriage Act and after that you want to divorce it must be necessary to give a notice and after that you will file section 27 special Marriage Act for divorce every petition under chapter 5 Chapter 6 shall be present to the district court within the local limits of whose original civil jurisdiction

Yes, Since the marriage has been solemnized and registered under the Special Marriage Act court decree would be required for dissolution of marriage and sending a legal notice would not be suffice. The parties will be governed by the Special Marriage Act
