Mam section 9 means restitution of conjugal rights. Agar aap apne pati se alag reh rahi hai toh unhone court ne arzi di hai ki woh aapke saath rehna chahte hai. Agar aapke paas petition aayi hai toh aapko agali date par pesh hokar apna jawab file karna hoga.

Section 9 in Hindu Marriage Act is Restitution of Conjugal Right where a husband for wife may I ask the other partner to come and reside together, if the partner not residing together in matrimonial home. Either husband or wife may present their case before the court. Court on hearing both the parties may decide on the merit on the basis evidences put before it. Court mein direct in the either in the favour of the plaintiff handmade direct the defendant to go and reside with the plaintiff or simply reject the plea of section 9 petition filed by the plaintiff.
